With over 78% of crypto traders relying on apps to execute transactions in 2025, it was time for Injective Labs to introduce a mobile version of its flagship decentralized exchange, Helix. However, Head of Mobile Development, Billy Jacoby, knew that onboarding the next wave of crypto newcomers would take more than simply releasing a device-friendly version of the DEX.

Between managing key pairs and logging seed phrases into paper wallets, Billy saw firsthand how crypto's notoriously complex onboarding flows stifle adoption for newly released apps, especially with users just entering the space.
