Migration without changing keys or addresses
Users’ assets stay exactly where they are onchain. They keep the same keys and addresses, with better infrastructure underneath. Depending on your current setup, migration can happen entirely in the background or require a brief, one-time action from each user.

Users export their key or seed phrase from their current provider and import it directly into Turnkey through a secure embedded iframe hosted at import.turnkey.com.
Keys travel end-to-end encrypted directly to Turnkey's hardware enclaves and never pass through your servers.

Your app or company controls the keys
Migration can run as a backend script for setups where your application manages keys on behalf of users, or your company controls its own wallets.
Export keys programmatically from your existing provider and pass them directly to Turnkey’s server-side SDK or CLI.

Export your keys securely
For user-controlled wallets, users export their key or seed phrase through their current provider's export flow. For custodial setups, keys are pulled programmatically via your provider's API or Node SDK.
Import into Turnkey
Keys are imported directly into Turnkey's hardware enclaves through an end-to-end encrypted channel. No intermediate storage, no key written to disk.
Set up access controls
Each user gets their own isolated sub-organization with configurable wallets, authenticators, and signing policies. Delegated access, threshold requirements, and per-transaction rules are ready to configure from day one.
Go live
Run migrations just-in-time as users log in, or batch the entire migration ahead of time. Either way, your users keep their existing addresses and see no interruption.
