Challenge

Establishing seamless crypto flows without building infrastructure in-house

Dream's founding vision was to tackle the ecosystem-wide UX shortcomings of crypto, from fragmented onboarding flows to cross-chain asset management. 

To capitalize on this vision, its team conceptualized an end-to-end web3 operating system that aggregates dApps into a seamless, unified interface while reducing friction for inherently complex transactions.

Still, like many fast-moving crypto startups, Dream knew establishing the wallet infrastructure to support the launch of its app would be a considerable time and resource drain. 

"Building wallet infrastructure alone would consume the entirety of our existing resources," shares Dom Dosu, Founder and CEO at Dream. "To maintain our roadmap trajectory while staying lean, we needed a wallet provider to tick that crucial box."

As Dream mapped out the technical foundation for its OS, several requirements quickly became non-negotiable. The platform needed infrastructure that could support fast mobile execution, scale beyond the typical SOL/BTC/ETH trio of supported chains, and offer enough programmability to bundle multi-step transactions into a single approval. Long onboarding flows and slow transaction paths were also incompatible with the seamless user experience Dream aimed to deliver.

With these criteria defined, it became clear that only a deeply flexible, developer-first wallet provider could support the type of unified, cross-chain experience Dream was building.

With Turnkey's non-custodial embedded wallets, Dream transformed previously lengthy and fragmented onboarding flows into a unified, instantaneous process. 

Today, new users can authenticate with Face ID, passkeys, SMS, or email in seconds, while Turnkey’s seamless recovery flows eliminate the need to log a seed phrase in a paper wallet.
