New product capabilities that support secure, real-world use cases

The Turnkey team shipped more than 15 new major capabilities in 2025, all focused on making it easier for teams to build and scale production-grade crypto applications. These improvements translate directly into better secure key management, faster wallet creation, lower operational overhead, and greater flexibility.

These capabilities include:

Upgraded Embedded Wallet Kit React Native SDK blog Type 7 visual

1. Embedded wallets and SDKs

  • Turnkey’s new Embedded Wallet Kit packages all key wallet functionality into a single SDK you can drop into your app. It supports flexible login options (like passkeys and social auth) and eliminates backend complexity. This speeds development and delivers a smooth, native user experience
  • The React Native SDK consolidates embedded wallet and transaction automation capabilities into a single package for mobile development with React Native. This simplifies integration and reduces boilerplate across platforms. Developers can ship secure wallet features faster with familiar tooling.
  • Kotlin updated SDK offers native APIs for wallet creation, signing, and key management tailored for Android development. By integrating directly into Kotlin applications, it enables secure onchain functionality using familiar language patterns and native tooling.
Turnkey product TRON support Bitcoin support

2. Policy engine and transaction control

  • ABI and IDL support allows for decoding smart contract calls with full visibility and control inside policy logic. This lets developers enforce intent-level rules based on structured contract data without writing custom parsers. It simplifies policy development and strengthens transaction gating.
  • The TRON policy engine extends programmable controls and transaction parsing to TRON-based assets and smart contracts. This helps builders enforce intent and guardrails at signing time across a broader set of chains.
  • Bitcoin parsing adds first-class support for structured Bitcoin transaction data in its policy engine and signing stack, so apps can interpret and enforce intent on Bitcoin flows. This helps developers build Bitcoin-aware features with the same policy-driven guarantees they get on other networks.
Type 4 transaction EIP 712 signing

3. Ethereum and smart transaction support

  • Support for EIP-4844 and EIP-7702 unlocks cheaper execution and richer transaction semantics. This gives developers access to newer protocol features without custom signing logic. It ensures your infra stays compatible with evolving Ethereum UX expectations.
  • EIP-712 typed data signing support gives developers a standardized, structured way to handle off-chain interactions with verifiable intent. This enables more sophisticated UX patterns like meta-transactions or delegated flows while preserving security and auditability. Developers get stronger control over off-chain logic without compromising trust.
Coinbase integration MoonPay integration Swaps and bridging

4. Payments, onramps, and value movement

  • Coinbase onramps can now directly be integrated into apps, letting users buy crypto without redirects, embedded modals, or third-party UIs. This native onramp simplifies the funding experience and keeps users in your secure session flow. It also supports multiple payment methods across countries, driving better conversion and retention.
  • MoonPay onramps  also lets users purchase crypto directly inside applications, removing the need for iframes or redirects. By keeping the funding flow in-app, developers maintain control of the user session and wallet logic. This improves UX and reduces drop-off during onboarding.
  • Simplified swaps and bridging make it easy to integrate swap and cross-chain transfer flows from partners like 0x, Jupiter, and Li.Fi directly into applications without building and maintaining custom routing logic. This lets users execute swaps or move assets across chains within native UX while preserving Turnkey’s security and policy controls. The result is smoother value movement, higher conversion, and fewer external redirects for users.
Breeze integration

5. Yield and capital efficiency

  • Turnkey x Breeze Native yield lets developers embed native yield opportunities (like on SOL, USDC, or LSTs) directly into wallet experiences, so users earn yield without leaving their app. This adds a financial primitive that enhances user engagement and monetization. It’s also integrated securely with Turnkey’s core policy and signing layers.
IndexedDB session persistence

6. Session management and app reliability

  • Turnkey’s IndexedDB support improves how web sessions persist so users stay signed in more reliably, even across reloads or site interruptions. By eliminating fragile iframe setups and combining stronger session storage with verifiable sessions and better authentication, it creates a smoother experience for end users and fewer unexpected login interruptions.
Type 16 transaction Verifiable policy decisions Turnkey Verifiable Cloud

7. Core platform and verifiability

  • Verifiable wallets let developers cryptographically prove that wallets are created exactly as intended inside secure enclaves, using the code they reviewed. This reduces security risk, simplifies audits, and gives users stronger, provable trust in applications.
  • Verifiable policy decisions provide cryptographic proof that policy evaluations and enforcement happened exactly as defined, inside secure execution environments. This adds transparency, enhances security guarantees, and makes it easier to audit and trust access and transaction controls.
  • Turnkey Verifiable Cloud (Private Beta) brings cryptographic proof and verifiability beyond wallets and policies to the broader infrastructure layer, so critical operations can be independently verified rather than assumed. This increases transparency, strengthens security guarantees, and simplifies compliance and audit requirements for complex crypto applications.

Funding and recognition that reflect Turnkey’s growing market trust

In 2025, Turnkey reached two company-defining milestones that reflected both strong market conviction and growing industry recognition.

First, Turnkey raised a $30 million Series B led by Bain Capital Crypto, with continued support from Sequoia Capital, Lightspeed Faction, Galaxy Ventures, Wintermute Ventures, and Variant.

This round was a clear signal that secure, verifiable wallet infrastructure is becoming foundational to the next generation of crypto applications. The funding enabled Turnkey to accelerate product development, expand support across chains and platforms, and invest deeply in verifiability, policy enforcement, and developer tooling, areas that become increasingly critical as wallets move from manual use to continuous, automated operation.

Second, Turnkey was named to CNBC’s 2025 World’s Top Fintech Companies list, which highlights the most innovative private companies shaping the future of financial services.

This recognition underscored Turnkey’s growing role at the intersection of crypto infrastructure and modern fintech, where expectations around security, reliability, and user experience are converging.

For teams building on Turnkey, this external validation reinforces that the infrastructure they rely on is not only technically sound but also trusted and recognized at an industry level. Together, these milestones reflect Turnkey’s transition from early-stage infrastructure provider to a core platform supporting production-grade crypto applications at a global scale.

New resources to build the next generation of crypto applications

Turnkey is committed to giving developers the resources they need to understand, evaluate, and confidently build on modern crypto infrastructure. In 2025, we introduced several foundational resources designed to make complex concepts more accessible and to provide deeper transparency into how Turnkey works under the hood.

Turnkey whitepaper: In January 2025, we published the Turnkey whitepaper, outlining the company’s long-term vision and the architectural decisions behind it. The paper walks through Turnkey’s foundations, provides an engineering-focused tour of the system as it operates in production today, and explores how Turnkey’s approach extends beyond traditional key management to support more advanced, programmable wallet use cases.

TEE ebook: This resource breaks down how Trusted Execution Environments can be used to secure wallet operations by isolating keys and critical logic inside hardware-backed enclaves. It explains why this isolation matters, how it reduces the attack surface compared to traditional approaches, and what developers should consider when designing systems that rely on secure enclave execution.

Verifiability explained: The Verifiability Explained ebook introduces the concept of cryptographic proof as a core infrastructure primitive. It details how verifiability ensures confidence in every transaction by allowing developers and users to independently confirm that sensitive operations are executed exactly as intended. This resource helps teams understand how verifiability strengthens security, simplifies audits, and increases trust in production systems.

"We chose Turnkey because their flexible infrastructure, security-first ethos, and developer tooling make it easy to deliver innovative wallet experiences to our users."
